After you've launched your tree test, you'll start to receive responses. To analyze your study, click on the project. To view the individual participant's response, click on the "participants" tab.

Click on the orange button to the right of the participant's name to pull up their tree test response.

You'll be able to view each of the tasks and their behavior. Each task will receive a score, direct success, indirect success, direct failure, and indirect failure.

Scoring:

• Direct success = a participant clicks directly to the correct answer
• Indirect success = a participant eventually finds the correct answer but they first click into a different node and then backtrack towards the correct answer
• Direct failure = a participant clicks directly to an incorrect answer
• Indirect failure = a participant clicks to different nodes and then backtrack towards an incorrect answer

For each task, you can view the exact path that the participant took and the view when they backtrack and view sibling nodes.

Next, to view the aggregate analytics across all participants in the study, click on the "analytics" tab.

The first tab is the "Overview" tab. At the top, you'll see the "Total Success" this chart will show you the overall success across all participants who have taken the study.

The chart to the right labeled "Directness" will show you the percentage of participants that select the correct answer without backtracking.
