Tree testing is a helpful methodology to get user feedback and improve your website or product navigation. Learn more with our guide to tree testing.
To get started, from the PlaybookUX homepage, click on the "Create Project" button.
You have 4 different methodologies to choose from. There are also three types of tree tests you can choose from, non-recorded, unmoderated tree test and moderated tree test. Learn more about how to set up each different type of tree test. In this article we will walk through setting up a non-recorded tree test.
Next you'll start by naming your tree test. Remember, participants won't be able to see the name and the description you include here. This is just for you and your team to easily search for projects.
You'll also need to decide if you want to get feedback from our participants or your own participants.
Based on who you are looking to get feedback from (PlaybookUX participants or your own participants) the Audience step will look different.
Once you've defined your audience, it's time to set up the tree.
The starting point and highest node will always be "Home"
Name your first node and hover over that node to add a child. A child node will fall under that node.
